Eucharistic Adoration
The Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us that, Adoration is the first attitude of a person acknowledging that he or she is a creature before his Creator. It exalts the greatness of the Lord who made us and the almighty power of the Saviour who sets us free from evil.
What is Eucharistic Adoration?
It is the worship, appreciation of the Body and Blood of Christ (Eucharist )outside of Mass. The Eucharistic Host is displayed in a monstrance on the altar so that all can see and pray in the presence of Christ, most often in silence, gazing at Him in adoration.
What do you do during Eucharistic Adoration?
Eucharistic Adoration at St. Margaret's church is every Wednesday evening from 5pm to 6pm and it is held inside the Church.
You have the time to listen to God speak to you in the silence of your heart, either kneeling, sitting or standing before the Blessed Sacrament.
This is your time with Christ, time to listen to Him speak to you!
