Routemap for St Margaret's on reintroducing Public Masses 12/07/20

St Margaret’s’ Route Map for the returning of public Mass

Now that the Scottish Government has authorised the resumption of Public Mass, we can
start to consider how we begin to do this in St Margaret’s.
With the further easing of restrictions, I’m taking the opportunity to catch up with some
family and friends so there will be no Masses or prayer times in St Margaret’s between the
13 th – 18 th July.
Here are the arrangements from the 19 th July onwards:
Sunday, 19 th July:
Sunday Mass - 10am (live streamed only)

Tuesday, 21 st July/Thursday, 23 rd July/Saturday, 25 th July:
Mass – 10.30am. Open to the public (pre-booking required/face coverings to be worn/social
distancing). Mass will also be live streamed.

Wednesday, 22 nd July & Friday, 24 th July
Mass – 10.30am (live streamed only)

Sunday, 26 th July
Mass – 10am (live streamed only*)
*The reason for this decision is that the next Scottish Government review is due to take
place the following Thursday (30 th July)and therefore more changes

Weekday Mass booking

To book a place at Mass on Tuesday, 21 st July/Thursday, 23 rd July/Saturday, 25 th July please
contact Kenny Stark on: 07711 303333 or by email:
In order to attend Mass you must:
ï‚· Supply your name and address upon booking (for track and trace purposes)
ï‚· Wear a face mask/covering throughout Mass (except under-5’s)
ï‚· Socially distance
With social distancing in place in St Margaret’s, we can only allow 1 person or 1 household
per pew and so we only have a total of 10 pews available in the church. Pre-booking
therefore is vital.
If we are over-subscribed, you may need to be flexible with the dates you wish to attend.
I know that the inability to attend Mass and receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist is
something which will have been difficult for you during this time. I ask for your continued
patience and understanding as we begin to ease back into public worship.
With my thanks, prayers and every blessing,

Fr Ronald
